Jackson’s Jack and the Beanstalk First Birthday Party
As an Etsy shop owner, I love when my friends come to me with event ideas for me to put my creative touch on. Recently, one of my friends asked that I create a custom Jack and the Beanstalk birthday party theme for her little boy Jackson. I was thrilled to take on the challenge, although admittedly a little nervous about the outcome.
Creating the Jack and the Beanstalk Birthday Party Decor
First, I ordered a Jack and the Beanstalk book for Lucas and I to do a little research. This storytime lap book is awesome for bedtime and quickly became his favorite. Once my brain was refreshed on the story, I quickly got to work creating the graphics for Jack’s birthday decor. For this event, she asked for an invite, banner and first birthday cake topper. Each item features, a sack of gold, a hen, a golden harp and a castle in the clouds.
I had so much fun creating these adorable little graphics based on this imaginative tale and finding an equally imaginative font to go with the banner and invite!

On the day of the party my friend did a fantastic job putting all of the decor together into an adorable setup at Jack’s party. The party featured Jelly Bean magic beans, Golden Goose Egg chocolate eggs and green Twizzlers for bean stalks.
She also paired the banner perfectly with this super affordable Jungle Balloon Arch. Pro tip: If you’re going to take on a balloon arch, you pretty much have to have a balloon buddy! You will thank me, I promise!
All of this decor, along with matching baby shower decor is now available in my shop at Lukie Lou Paper Co.
